Route description:
We drive through the southern part of Samos and we arrive at the beginning of the path that leads to the small chapels hidden in the caves. We walk through the area where the eremites (anchorets) used to live. In front of us there is the entire history of christianism in Samos. After talking a little about history, we visit the small chapels built in 800 A.D. Then using the appropriate equipment, we tour around the caves. Before taking the way back, we have a snack enjoying the view to the Aegean.
